Sareet ’81 and Rajjina Majumdar
In the spring of 1972, Sareet Majumdar ’81 joined Berkeley Preparatory School as a third-grade student. As he progressed through the years, the school grew as well. Fast forward from Sareet’s Berkeley Preparatory School graduation in 1981 to 2012, when he attended the Berkeley Preparatory School commencement ceremony of his first child, Shaun.

Jerry Divers
When Jerry Divers’ wife Jean first pitched the idea of sending their sons Alan and Brett to Berkeley, he scoffed at the idea, suggesting that they would be fine at their neighborhood school. “My wife wanted to give our sons the best education possible, to best prepare them to live more enriching lives,” he recalls.
